Dr. Susan Greenbaum is a long-time member of the NYU community and an experienced administrator. She received her BS and MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business, and earned her doctoral degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pennsylvania. She served in a variety of capacities at NYU Stern over a 31-year career, culminating in her role as the associate dean of the Undergraduate College. During her time at Stern, she led the creation of the undergraduate cohort model and the implementation of the Cohen Arts and Culture Experience, and she was involved with a wide range of programs including admissions, financial aid, curriculum initiatives, and alumni relations. She also was an adjunct faculty member at Stern. Following her time at Stern, she has worked as a consultant and executive coach with a focus on educational institutions—assisting clients with communications, change management, reorganizations, and public relations.
Most recently, Dean Greenbaum returned to NYU to serve as our interim assistant vice president/executive director of the Wasserman Center for Career Development, where she strategically led and worked with the team to develop and execute a comprehensive range of career development related programs and services for students, alumni, and employers. She currently serves as interim dean of the NYU School of Professional Studies.
