BS in Applied Data Analytics and Visualization (STEM)

Organizations, government agencies, and corporations around the globe now have access to seemingly limitless amounts of data. In demand are professionals who possess broad-based skills in information systems, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and data visualization and who can apply that expertise to translate data into intelligence.

The BS in Applied Data Analytics and Visualization will prepare you to transform data into valued insight for a variety of decision markers. You will learn techniques to set-up systems to retrieve, aggregate, and process large data sets; separate big data sets into manageable and logical components; and eliminate “noise” by cleaning data. You also will learn different methods of data analysis and visualization, aided by statistical and graphics software.

Graduates of this program will be prepared to pursue a broad array of employment opportunities in this growing and evolving field, including those within corporations, service industries, government agencies, political organizations, consulting firms, nonprofit organizations, marketing and advertising agencies, and media companies.
