Urban Leadership Award Dinner

Urban Leadership Award Dinner

Dear Friends of the NYUSPS Schack Institute,

The NYU School of Professional Studies (NYUSPS) Schack Institute of Real Estate is pleased to invite you to the 46th Annual Urban Leadership Award Dinner, to be held on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Mandarin Oriental, New York.

This year, the Schack Institute will honor Marty Burger, chief executive officer of Silverstein Properties and a Schack Advisory Board member. Through his extraordinary record of leadership at some of the real estate industry’s most visible firms, Marty has made an indelible mark on the profession. As chief executive officer of Silverstein Properties, he has been at the helm of projects that are shaping the skyline for the next generation of New Yorkers. Marty’s service to the industry extends well beyond the boardroom, as a member of the Advisory Board of the Schack Institute, in governance roles at the industry’s leading associations, and through his philanthropic work.

Established in 1971, the Urban Leadership Award recognizes members of the industry who have made exceptional contributions to the growth and prestige of the real estate sector. It is the highest honor conferred by the Schack Institute. Proceeds from the dinner support critically important scholarship and financial aid programs at the Schack Institute, as well as a range of special initiatives.
