Career Advisement

Career Advisement - If you are in need of career advisement, help is available from the Divisions advisers and faculty members, as well as through the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development at the NYU School of Professional Studies. You can schedule one-on-one appointments at the Wasserman Center to discuss career goals, to strategize about a job search, and/or to get advice about your cover letter and résumé.

Credit for Prior Experiential Learning

Credit for Prior Experiential Learning -  Students enrolled in our bachelors degrees bring rich life and work experiences, as well as a diversity of knowledge to the classroom. Our programs allow qualified students to apply credit for prior experiential learning to earn as much as half of the credits toward their bachelors degree.

Rest assured, our supportive community of staff members, academic advisers, faculty members, and professional tutors are always available to help you along the way.

Seamless Transfer of Credits

Seamless Transfer of Credits -  Students who are interested in completing their bachelors degree through the Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies and who have earned credits through studies at a community college or a four-year college, may transfer up to half of the credits required for their degree. To accept the transfer of credits, a Division administrator will carefully evaluate your college transcript(s) to determine applicability of previous course work to your selected program of study.


Tutoring - As an enrolled student, if you need extra academic support in certain subject areas, the Division offers complimentary, one-on-one tutoring in writing, math, accounting, economics, and statistics.
